“公益服务 服务你我”

  20日早上的天津滨海国际机场的大厅格外繁忙，前一夜的一场突入袭来的暴雨使许多航班停飞，给原本井然有序的机场带来不小的影响。正是在这样一个忙碌的日子里，一群身穿不同校服的学生志愿者在机场五号门前集合，一同期待着接下来的机场志愿服务活动。   此次的机场志愿服务虽然并不如想象中那样轻松，但参与其中的志愿者们都从中得到了前所未有的锻炼，也在服务中获得了巨大的成就感。面对旅客们提出的五花八门的问询时，我们从最开始的不知所措再到最终的迎刃而解，每个人都在志愿服务中成长了许多。   这次活动无疑是一段令人难以置信的充实经历，主要职责是帮助旅客解决他们的疑问和顾虑，帮助旅客快速的办理好值机和行李托运，确保他们在机场的体验并顺利乘坐航班。许多旅客到达机场后并不清楚坐飞机的流程，因此，能够为他们提供清晰简洁的信息、在他们需要帮助时及时伸出援手是非常重要的。虽然这些任务看起来平平无奇，但它们为确保旅客顺利乘坐飞机发挥了重要作用。

    在这次活动中同学们也都收获了许多有意思的经历。
    “我记得有一次，我帮助了一个说方言的老爷爷，他因为值机过程出现了问题，又加上年纪比较大而且语言不通不知道该如何解决。我能够用简单的手势与他交流，了解问题过后，我帮助他解决了问题，他也顺利的完成值机。他对我的帮助非常感激，我也感到非常的有成就感。”
    做为国际部的学生，我们需要更多的参与社会实践的经历，从初期的为了完成任务而参加，到逐渐感受到因为被需要，所以主动的投身到各种公益服务中。

    在帮助旅客办理自助行李托运时，碰到了一个阿姨因为行李超重，不停的拿出一部分行李又重新办理。虽然我的志愿服务即将结束，老师催促回去集合，但是我依旧安慰阿姨不用着急，调整好行李，重新帮助她将称重、托运，直到成功。

    在办理登机牌和行李托运的过程中，我遇到了一对老年夫妇，他们第一次坐飞机。于是，我帮他们录入信息，选坐位，打印登机牌，办理行李托运。在此期间，他们一脸慈祥，十分友善，与我谈笑风声，我也尽心尽力为他们办理手续，心里感觉很温暖。后来奶奶找到领队老师对我表示了感谢。通过这次活动我深深地体会到了被人需要的幸福，也明白了与人玫瑰手有余香的道理。今后我还会参加更多的志愿服务活动，帮助更多的人，为社会的文明进步付出自己的努力与坚持。
活动总结：
    此次的天津机场志愿服务获得使小志愿者们收获颇丰，对意志力和责任心的培养产生积极影响。通过志愿服务过程中与旅客们的交流和沟通，同学们提升了宝贵的组织和解决问题等技能，这些技能在生活的各个方面都是有益的。同时，这次活动也教会了学生很多关于同理心、耐心和对细节关注的重要性。这也让志愿者们对机场工作人员的辛勤工作和奉献精神感到敬佩。

The 20th session of 'Young Dreamers' voluntary public service at Tianjin Airport went ahead as planned. This event was jointly organized by 'Yuanxin Culture Media', with 15 students from Tianjin Experimental High School International Department and other 8 different middle schools in Tianjin, spanning different grades and educational systems, participating in the event."
On the bustling morning of May 20, 2023, the lobby of Tianjin Binhai International Airport teemed with activity. Just the previous night, torrential rain had caused flight cancellations, disrupting the usually orderly operations of the airport. Against this backdrop, a group of student volunteers, adorned in their respective school uniforms, congregated in front of Gate 5, eagerly anticipating their upcoming airport volunteer activities.
Before commencing their official duties, Mr. Hu Jia, the supervisor, delivered a professional and comprehensive briefing to the young volunteers, thoroughly preparing them for their service. Mr. Hu began by educating us on various scenarios we might encounter while assisting with airport logistics and services. This imparted valuable knowledge about flights, which would prove beneficial not only during this undertaking but also in our future lives. As we adorned our ribbons, the students supported one another, fostering unity and warmth within the volunteer team. After donning the ribbons, the young volunteers received hands on guidance from Teacher Hu on how to navigate self-check-in and the use of self-service kiosks. Subsequently, they were assigned different positions for their service tasks.
 
Although the airport volunteer service proved more challenging than anticipated, the young participants underwent unprecedented growth and experienced a profound sense of
accomplishment. Initially overwhelmed by the diverse inquiries from passengers, the young
volunteers gradually gained confidence and successfully resolved each issue. This endeavor
nurtured personal development among all participants.
 
The experience proved to be incredibly fulfilling. The primary role of the volunteers was to
assist passengers in resolving queries and concerns, facilitate swift check-ins, and ensure a
seamless airport experience leading to smooth flights. Many travelers arrived at the airport
bewildered by the flight process, underscoring the importance of providing clear and concise
information while extending assistance when needed. Though these tasks may appear mundane, they are pivotal in ensuring a hassle-free journey for travelers.

"I vividly recall assisting an elderly gentleman who spoke a dialect unfamiliar to me. He
encountered difficulties during the check-in process, and being elderly, he struggled to find
a solution. Through simple gestures, I managed to communicate with him. After grasping his
problem, I helped him resolve it, enabling him to complete the check-in smoothly. His
gratitude left me with a profound sense of accomplishment."
  
As students of the International Department, we need to accumulate more experiences in social practice. Initially, we participated just to complete tasks. However, gradually we have begun to feel the pleasure of being needed, and this has led us to voluntarily participate in various public service activities.

During the volunteer service, a young volunteer, encountered an aunt struggling
with her luggage, repeatedly removing items to comply with weight limits. Despite the
conclusion of our volunteer service drawing near, Xue Youfei displayed no reluctance and patiently assisted the aunt in resolving the issue.

While handling boarding passes and luggage check-in, I encountered an elderly couple who were taking a flight for the first time. So, I helped them enter their information, choose seats, print boarding passes, and check in their luggage. During this time, they wore a kind and friendly smile, chatting and laughing with me. I tried my best to help them with the procedures and felt very warm in my heart. Later, the grandmother thanked me to the team leader. Through this activity, I deeply felt the happiness of being needed and understood the saying that 'fragrance always stays in the hand that gives roses.' In the future, I will participate in more volunteer service activities, help more people, and contribute my efforts and persistence to the progress of social civilization."
Summary of the activities:
The volunteer service at Tianjin Airport proved to be a highly rewarding experience for the
young participants, positively impacting their willpower and sense of responsibility. Through
their interactions and communication with passengers during the volunteering process, the
students developed invaluable organizational and problem-solving skills that will benefit
them in various aspects of life. Moreover, the event imparted important lessons about the
significance of empathy, patience, and attention to detail. It also instilled a deep appreciation
for the dedication and hard work exhibited by airport staff among the young volunteers
